Did Peter McCleskey sell out? Is he gone?
NO! Peter has merged his firm and remains as a partner in the combined firm – KHA Accountants and Advisors, PC one of the leading firms in Denton County.
Why did KHA Accountants and Advisors and Peter McCleskey, CPA choose to merge?
Briefly, to serve you better! KHA has desired to have a presence “north of the lake.” For our clients, we gain access to great breadth and depth of resources – the combined firm will have about 20 licensed CPAs with various levels of experience and expertise. And, we now can offer significant additional services to our clients. For one example, we gain the ability to provide reviewed or audited financial statements to our clients needing that level of assurance services. Lastly, we achieve certain efficiencies from economies of scale
What happens to the Denton office?
It remains open – and Peter will continue to office there. The combined firm will maintain both their offices in Flower Mound and in Denton.
How does this impact me, the client?
With this merger, you keep the personal touch and service-orientation that attracted you to us in the first place, and we now have access to many more resources to assist and serve you. Further, it greatly expands the breadth of service offerings we can provide. As an example, if you need audited or reviewed financial statements, we can now provide them.
How will this merger impact my fees?
Our combined firm will continue to price services primarily on an hourly basis. Both firms have built their reputations on providing quality, professional service at fair prices. That commitment won’t change going forward. As all good businesses do, we periodically evaluate our fee structure for competitiveness and value, and make adjustments accordingly.
